Whitewater Rafting Tours on the Rogue River

Rogue River Raft Trips, Inc. is the sister company of Morrison’s Rogue River Lodge. We offer whitewater rafting to all skill and age levels on the Rogue, from the ½ day Splash & Dash to a 3 or 4-Day whitewater adventure through the lower Rogue River Canyon.

Recreation Rafting Day Section of the Rogue River

Guests staying at Morrison’s can enjoy the recreation rafting section of the Rogue River in the area, right where Morrison’s is located. There is a 12 to 16 mile section with mild and fun rapids perfect for families and an introduction to the Rogue River Canyon.
We offer ½-day, 1-day, and 2-day packages on this section.

All Packages Include:

Lodging at Morrison's Lodge, Meals (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner), rafting and kayaking equipment, lifevest, splash jackets and helmet.

Our rafting packages are run on the recreation section of the Rogue River and are suitable for adventurers of all ages. Similar to our Lower Canyon trips, you will have a choice of river craft: oar boats, paddle boats or inflatable kayaks for the more adventurous person in your group.

The SPLASH and DASH

1/2 Day Whitewater Rafting & 1 Night Lodging

The SPLASH and DASH:
Extend your night of lodging with an exciting morning of whitewater, after a fine country breakfast. All half-day river trips depart from the lodge. The guides will meet you in the main lodge at 9:00 am, after a brief orientation and equipment fitting you will be on the water. As you float down the river you will encounter an abundance of wildlife: eagles, osprey, great blue herons, turtles, deer, river otter an occasional black bear. On all trips you can choose to relax on the raft or try the challenge of our inflatable kayaks. With the morning half day trip you have the option for lunch back at the lodge before you depart.

1 Day Whitewater Rafting & 1 Night Lodging

The SPLASH ALL DAY:
Any SPLASH and DASH PACKAGE may be upgraded to a full day of rafting. Full day trips start upstream of the lodge and float through majestic Hellgate Canyon. The full day raft trip stops at Morrison’s lodge for a complete deli lunch.

2 Days Whitewater Rafting & 2 Nights Lodging

The SPLASH 2 DAYS:
This two day package provides the time needed to enjoy the entire river area surrounding Morrison’s Lodge. Once you check-in (any time after 2:00 pm) the staff at the lodge will take care of all your package details. Check in early and allow plenty of time for swimming in the pool or taking a walk on the rivers edge.

The first day of the raft trip starts on mild water and progresses throughout the day. You'll have time to get comfortable in our inflatable kayaks or just soak up the sun on the raft. Enjoy the abundance of wildlife as you float through calm pools of the scenic Rogue River. After our gourmet picnic lunch on the rivers edge, you will hit a few bigger rapids and float through the mighty Hellgate Canyon before arriving back at the lodge. You will have plenty of time to relax in your cabin or sun by the pool before enjoying a four course gourmet dinner out on the deck over looking the river.

Day two starts at the lodge just after a hearty country breakfast, your guide will meet you in the main lodge at 9:30 am. This day promises some bigger rapids like Galice Chutes and Argo, with a variety of smaller riffles sprinkled though the day. Cameras are encouraged on both days for those perfect family rafting photo opportunities.

Whitewater Rafting: Wild & Scenic Wilderness Section Rogue River:

All trips on the Wild & Scenic Wilderness section are:
3 day Lodge or Camping/Lodge trips.
This area is permitted by the Federal Government, the BLM and the USFS. Once you go past Grave Creek rapids there is no turning back until you reach Foster Bar, about 45 miles down river. Rogue River Raft Trips specializes in these fantastic lower Rogue Trips.
